It’s important to keep your goals front and center to stay on track and keep a positive mindset on this journey. That’s why I love sharing my intentions on Instagram every month. Canva.com is the place I go to design everything.
Canva is an incredible tool for all of your design needs. Instagram posts, blog headers, ebooks—it can all be done in Canva. I’m not sponsored by them. I’m just saying.
You can create a goals list like this on Canva.com with a free account in a few minutes.
The list only consists of 5 elements:
- yellow paintbrush stroke
- heading or title i.e. “August Goals”
- body text i.e. individual goals
- watermark i.e. WISE WOMAN WALLET
When you want to check off an item, you can return to Canva and add check marks.
HERE’S HOW TO CREATE A GOALS LIST IN CANVA FOR FREE
First, create your free Canva account or log into your existing account. Select “Instagram Post.” A blank square will appear. It’s pre-sized perfectly for posting.
In the search bar, type “paint” and select the purple brush stroke. You can create other backgrounds for your heading if you’d like.
Add the heading or title of your design by clicking on “TEXT” and “Add heading” in the left sidebar. Adjust the text accordingly.
Next, add your goals by clicking on “TEXT” and “Add subheading” in the left sidebar. Adjust the text accordingly.
Then, add the checkboxes by clicking on “ELEMENTS” and “Shapes” in the left sidebar. Adjust the shape accordingly. Then copy and paste the boxes to align with the numbers or bullet points of your list. You can copy and paste by pressing “Copy” or Ctrl+C (copy) and Ctrl+V (paste).
Here’s the final product! You did it!
To finish, click “Download” and save the image to your “Downloads” folder or direct it elsewhere.
When you want to check off an item, you can return to Canva, add check marks and download the updated image.
